DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports US Availability

Known as one of the leaders in Daily Fantasy Sports in the United States, DraftKings gives players an opportunity to compete against friends or the field, for a chance at prizes. DraftKings has been operating since 2012 and available to US players, according to their local jurisdiction.

Play DK DFS on your Mobile Device

For players that prefer to play a mobile device, you can play on your mobile web browser or a mobile device.

If you want to download the DraftKings’ mobile app for Daily Fantasy Sports, you can do so after you create your account through the web browser. When you click on the profile icon, inside the profile menu, click on the Setting (gear icon) menu option. From this submenu, select Mobile Apps.

Here there will see an option to download from your mobile device’s app store, this include Android’s Google PlayStore and iOS’s Apple Appstore. Once the app is downloaded, you will be able to use the same login you created already.

Making a DK Deposit

To enter paid daily fantasy sports contests, you will need to make a deposit into your account.

Log in to your account and head to the profile menu, by clicking on the profile icon. In the menu, click on the green Deposit button.

On the deposit screen, you will have the option to fund your account with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover backed credit card. You will also have the option to deposit using PayPal or DraftKings Gift Cards.

Playing in Your First Golf Contest

To enter your first Golf contest, go to your Profile menu and click the Contest link.

This will open up a list of available DFS Contests by sports leagues. Here you will choose Golf.

Here you will have an option to play one of the available Golf contests types, which will vary from day to day.

Next select the match from the available days. Here you will see the entry fee and the amount available in prizes.

DraftKings Golf Contest Types

As mentioned, you can choose different games type like the Classic, Captain Mode Showdown, Captain Mode Showdown and Tier Golf types. Each Golf type will have a different scoring system and rules.

 

Classic Golf

For Classic Golf, you select players from the Player Pool. Your goal is to pick a lineup for each position without surpassing the salary cap, which is usually $50,000. You will be given points based on your overall ranking.

Build a roster of 6 golfers.

 

Captain Mode Showdown Golf

This style of golf is similar to Classic Golf, the difference for Snake Showdown is that the golfer you select as your captain will get a 1.5x mulitplier for their points.

Build a roster of 5 golfers and 1 captain.

 

Golf Snake Showdown

You will be a in a Live draft and select your roster in a Snake drafting order. Once the draft is over, no transactions or roster management will occur.

Build a roster of 3 golfers.

 

Tier Golf

In Tier Golf, you must select only one golfer from the Player Pool in each roster tier. The amount of tiers can vary depending on the game.

The roster size will be based on the amount of tiers.

DFS Golf Promotions

At DraftKings, for most sports you can paly various promotions and challenges to suit your needs.

In this section, we will cover some of the more popular golf promotions.

Golf Welcome Bonus up to $500 plus Free $3 Ticket

When you join DraftKings, you will get an automatic Welcome Bonus on your first deposit, a value up to $500. And as an additional bonus you will get a free $3 ticket to enter contests!

For your initial deposit above $5, you will receive a 20% bonus. The maximum bonus you can receive in return is $500, so anything above $2500 will not receive any additional bonus beyond the maximum.

Remember, this must be your first ever deposit to claim the Welcome Bonus.

To release your bonus money, you will need to complete the playthrough within 90 days of claiming the offer. For every $25 spent at DraftKings (DFS, Sportsbook or Casino) you will release $1 in bonus money into your account. If you deposit $50, you receive a $10 bonus, which would mean you need to play through $250 at DK to release the bonus money. Once the bonus money is released, you can do with it as you please.

DraftKings Fantasy Golf Achievements

If you’re looking for a loyalty program, check out the DraftKings Achievement program, which rewards players the more they play. If you were familiar with DraftKings in the past, this was formerly their FPPs Program.

You will earn 1 Crown for every $1 spent on paid contest.

You can also earn Contest Tickets, which will allow you to enter paid contests and win cash prizes.

There is also DK Dollars which can be used to choose preferred contests of your choice.

The fastest way to earn these various rewards is by playing paid contests, completing missions and claiming daily rewards.

King of the Rift

For this $175,000 Guaranteed Contest, the best of the best will compete at a chance to rank and win prizes.

To begin, the top 100 players will compete for the first round and only 50 will move on to round 2. From the second round, 25 players will move on to final round.

In the final round, the 25 best players will compete for first place, a $50,000 reward. While second and third place will get $25,000 and $15,000 respectively.

Drive for Dough

With the Drive for Dough challenge, there are two contests. In contest one, it is just for the final round and contest two is for just the 18th hole for the final two groups.

In each contest, you will need to answer of series of questions on what will happen. The winner with the most correct answers will share part of $10,000 prize pool.

DraftKings Championship Series

For the Championship Series, you can enter DFS Golf, other DFS games, Sportsbook or Casino contests to compete for prizes or qualifying to ticket to the final Tournament of Champions.

Players have the option to buy in directly or earn a spot by winning Championship Series contests labeled “qualifier only.” Depending where you end up you can win cash prizes. If you win one of these contests, you receive a qualifying ticket to the end-of-season Tournament of Champions.
